One Telegram Message, One Published YouTube Video: How We Automated a Faceless Content Channel

A media brand came to us with a simple goal and a genuinely tedious process: turn high-performing Reddit posts into faceless YouTube videos with talking avatars, published daily, without hiring scriptwriters, editors, or video staff.

Manually, that meant copying the Reddit content, writing a script by hand, recording voice-over, producing the video, and uploading it — 1 to 2 hours per video, start to finish. At that pace, scaling to daily output simply wasn't realistic without building out a whole production team.

The build: a Reddit link in, a published video out

We built a fully automated n8n workflow that turns a single Telegram message containing a Reddit link into a ready-to-publish YouTube video — script, voice-over, avatar footage, upload, all handled without anyone touching a script or an editing tool.

It starts the moment someone sends a Telegram message with a Reddit link. The system extracts the link, subreddit, and post ID, then pulls the full post and comment thread via the Reddit API, flattening the (often messy, deeply nested) comment structure into clean data for analysis. From there, an AI agent generates a concise script and title, returned as structured, ready-to-use output.

That script goes straight into ElevenLabs for natural-sounding voice-over, which then feeds into HeyGen to render a 720p talking-avatar video. Once rendering finishes, the system automatically uploads the finished video to YouTube with the AI-generated title and tags, then sends the published link straight back to Telegram — the same place the whole process started.

What this actually delivered

  • Zero marginal cost per video — no per-video labor, no scaling cost as output increases
  • Dozens of videos possible per day, limited by rendering time rather than human hours
  • Consistent brand voice and avatar appearance across every single video, with no drift
  • Easy to extend — additional languages or other social platforms can be added to the same pipeline

Why this matters beyond one media brand

The specific format here is Reddit-to-YouTube, but the pattern is the real story: source content in, script and voice generation, rendering, and publishing — all chained into one pipeline triggered by a single message. Any content operation built around a repeatable format (same video style, same source type, same publishing destination) is a strong candidate for exactly this kind of one-trigger automation.

If you're running a content format that repeats the same way every time, that's exactly what we map out on a free strategy call.
